Trump Blasts Ex-Navy SEAL Who Led Bin Laden Raid As ‘Hillary Fan’


President Trump launched a volley of criticism against the retired Navy SEAL admiral who led the Osama bin Laden raid, calling him a “Hillary-backer” and suggesting he should have caught the terrorist leader sooner.

In an interview with “Fox News Sunday,” host Chris Wallace brought up comments Admiral Bill McRaven made in February 2017 – a month after Trump was sworn-in – that the president’s attacks on the media were the “greatest threat to democracy” he’s seen in his lifetime.

Trump pushed back on Fox, calling McRaven a “Hillary Clinton fan.”

“Excuse, me, Hillary fan. He’s a Hillary Clinton backer and an Obama-backer and frankly, wouldn’t it have been nice if we got Osama bin Laden a lot sooner than that? Wouldn’t that have been nice?” the president mused.

  1. Oh, please. McRaven “led” the raid? He was sitting in his armchair in the Pentagon, while the brave SEALs led and executed the raid.
