Rabbi Moshe Reuven Barkin zt”l


It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the passing of Rabbi Moshe Reuven Barkin zt”l.

A alumnus of Telshe Yeshiva in Cleveland, Reb Moshe Reuven’s passing has plunged his many friends and admirers into mourning.

The levaya will take place today at noon at the Telshe Yeshiva Bais Medrash, located at 28400 Euclid Avenue in Wickliffe, Ohio.

  1. Reb moshe reuven za”l was a tzadik yesod olam. Not many people know of all the cursed that he did for all kinds of people (in many cases people whom he did not agree with)
    He also learnt thru shas a number of times (and this is going back years already so by now its even more)
    He was LOVED & TRUSTED by ALL the roshei yeshiva in telz.
    He was the picture of a balabus from pre war years that knew what what the ikar and tafel is.
    A brother of the geon reb dovid Za”l.
    Their father was from de amolige zort yiden. No wonder he was zoche to such sons.
    There is a story about that also which I’m sure someone will write here .
