Rabbi: Kiev’s Central Shul Bugged

2

Rav Moshe Reuven Azman, one of Ukraine’s two chief rabbis, complained that Ukraine officials bugged Kiev’s main shul.

Emphasizing the Jewish community’s loyalty to Ukraine after Russia’s 2014 occupation of Crimea, he complained that the kehillah’s security service identified professional bugging of the city’s central shul and its visitors by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU).

He demanded that Ukraine’s law enforcement agencies investigate the issue and appealed for help from diplomats and Jews worldwide.

NABU denies the allegations.
