They’ve been married more than two decades, but Michelle Obama is revealing that at times she’s questioned whether she wanted to stay with former President Obama.

“Because we’re role models, it’s important for us to be honest and say, if you’re in a marriage and there are times you want to leave, that’s normal — because I felt that way,” Obama says in an interview with People published Monday, while recalling the couple’s visits with a marriage counselor.

“I know too many young couples who struggle and think somehow, there’s something wrong with them,” Obama said in an interview with ABC’s Robin Roberts. “I want them to know that Michelle and Barack Obama — who have a phenomenal marriage and who love each other — we work on our marriage and we get help with our marriage when we need it.”

  1. Perhaps she should have left him a few years sooner then she would have saved US taxpayers a lot of money covering all her overseas trips while she was first lady. She racked up huge bills with the Air Force and Secret Service all reimbursed by us the taxpayers..

  2. Yuch! Who needs mussar on shalom bayis from these two pieces of garbage. I’m sure they don’t know or care how much havoc they have caused with the Obama “spread the wealt” policies which have hurt so many families by reducing people’s incomes. The effects of his evil ways will effect people for years to come.

  3. She is right. All men are incompetent, evil, narcissistic, selfish, one track minds, pigs, sloppy, messy, terrible father’s, mean, miserly, misogynist, chauvinist, etc… If a woman in a marriage decides for any reason that she wants out, she should go and take the kids with her her. Teach that evil husband a lesson.
