Larry King Hits CNN: ‘Stopped Doing News’ To Focus On Trump

Ex-CNN host Larry King on Wednesday mocked his former employer declaring that the network “stopped doing news a long time ago” by opting to primarily cover President Trump.

King, who hosted a primetime show on CNN for 25 years through 2010, told RT America that the network originally covered Trump “as a character” when he was running for president.

“CNN stopped doing news a long time ago,” King said while be interviewed by another former CNN anchor, Rick Sanchez. “They do Trump. Fox is Trump TV and MSNBC is anti-Trump all the time.”

“You don’t see a story — there was vicious winds and storms in the Northeast the other day — not covered on any of the three cable networks, not covered,” King noted. “So when CNN started covering Trump — they were the first — they covered every speech he made and then they made Trump the story. So, Trump is the story in America.”

  1. He is president. There are rolling heads.

Its nice. They are not kosher.

Smart. Larry are you eating well? We are. Simple solution. Keep kosher and you should be ok. Trump is sort of friendly to the “jews who wear the head cover”. He noted those are the ones he does business with.

Kippah world war. No wonder CNN is in bad variety. Blitzer is LOSING. Where is the kippah on television?

Just to think we could be at learning peace today if the public jews and all of them just wore a kippah or head cover. Its almost like G-d himself is angry today. Maybe he is.

    • Honestly, I don’t understand how your incoherent word salad helps ANYONE on here. What?

Wearing a kippah isn’t even technically the halakhah. Bad religion to think it so important.

      • You could be right about the halacha. Let me know many rabbis who do not wear a hat in public.

You must be the master. I am sorry you are unable to find the respect of Israel to enjoy the years of a good president. He has keen support our holy. Thanks.

  2. Entertainment division is in charge of news and has been for nearly 30 years on all networks. No guesswork needed as to why the news is no longer part of the newscast.

  3. Trump is egomaniacal. Hopefully the Democrat congressional wins are going to put him in his place more. But he’s an animal of publicity: even when he’s saying outrageous stuff that no prior national leader has been able to get away with, somehow he makes it “good publicity” nonetheless just by the shamelessness of his bombastic presentation. He knows how to do something on television no-one else can, and it keeps all the news cams glued on him day after day even though the voice of impartiality knows it SHOULDN’T be that way. Under it all, I think, is a miserable fiend of a man.
