Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand on Sunday officially announced she is running for president in 2020.

The Democratic senator, who announced an exploratory committee for a potential run last month, takes aim at President Trump and highlights a number of progressive causes in a launch video that asks: “Will brave win?”

Gillibrand also calls for universal health care, paid family leave, ending gun violence, a Green New Deal and getting money out of politics, and points to activists like striking public school teachers and Women’s March participants.

“We’re bringing the fight to Trump’s doorstep,” the event’s page reads.

  1. What a condescending negative smear campaign against a successful sitting President! This WHITE muscheses has zero chance of winning the nomination. Lincoln Chaffee has a greater chance of winning this this backstabbing anti semite.

Time to leave the country. But where to go? Nefesh bnefesh?

  3. The same person who promised, as part of her campaign for Senate, not to interrupt her Senate term with a presidential run?
