Former Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz Considers Running For President

Former Starbucks Chairman and CEO Howard Schultz is putting together an elite public relations team as he prepares to release a civic-minded new book and considers running for president in 2020.

A key player in Schultz’s growing team is Steve Schmidt, a former vice chairman at public relations powerhouse Edelman who managed Republican Sen. John McCain’s presidential campaign in 2008.

Schultz is one of the many names widely considered as a possible candidate to take on Trump in two years. In an interview with CNBC earlier this year, Schultz left the door open to a run. With experience mainly in the business world but not the political arena, Schultz would likely need experienced political operators on his side if he were to dive into presidential politics.

  1. If he is not kosher, who wants.

Hope to hear his politics. Still might be anything better than Bernie.

Generations seeing jews discussing a run. It might be good. We are treated slightly maybe better.

One can only imagine Hashem has a plan ever the first guy in the office jew. Will it be chilonei or haredi?

    Graves are tested.

  2. Mr. Shultz is a big supporter of gay marriage. He is an immoral person and shouldn’t be allowed to reach the highest office in the land.

    • Exactly.
There is a way you speak to a person in private (trying to be mikarev them) and a different way you support a candidate for public office. A lot of Rabbanim and Tzaddikim met with wicked people over our long galus. Thousands of stories. Yaakov met with Easuv in Parshas Vayishlach, just to name one. They had no choice. Either for shtadlanus or for basic survival. In no way does that mean they support their way of life. In no way does that mean they would endorse them for leader of the free world.

  3. Didn’t this schlemiel learn anything from Pittsburgh? The last thing we need with the recent uptick in anti-Semitism is a Jew in the White House.

  4. Nothing to worry about. Fox News reported Hillary is back stating she “will fight this out until the last dog dies. She won’t let a little thing like two stunning defeats stand in the way of her claim to the White House.”
