Federal Agents Grill Kathy Griffin For Over an Hour About Her Severed Head Photo

When Kathy Griffin posed for a photoshoot holding a fake decapitated, bloody head of President Donald Trump in June, she likely didn’t think about the wide-reaching implications of her so-called “joke.”

While her controversial stunt resulted in some serious professional consequences, it also earned her a lengthy visit from the U.S. Secret Service.

Secret Service agents reportedly tracked down Griffin and interviewed her in person for more than an hour. Further, the investigation into the bloody head debacle remains open, although an arrest is highly unlikely.

Griffin’s attorney, Dmitry Gorin, has claimed the comedian was merely exercising her “First Amendment rights to tell a joke.” Read more here.

  1. There obviously are limitations on what constitutes a joke. Can one burn the flag and call it a joke? Obviously not! this is also going too far. She should at least be fined a few thousand dollars or sit in jail for thirty days. She should Not be allowed to get away with it scott free!!

  2. I heard from my me gutten she is very funny. We are to serious today. I Remember the 1970’s very eel. Who expected the relevance counter make rthdj again?
    I don’t beleove its.

    • If anyone did this to President Hussein, the Secret Service would arrest and interrogate them for weeks. Wonder why the Secret Service is going so easy on Trump threats.

    • There is nothing funny about a severed head. That is not free speech it is threatening speech. There are people that have gone to prison for similar antics

  3. Agreed. Griffin gave a despicable, ugly, disgusted display, and she deserved to be grilled by the Feds for more than an hour. By the way, I don’t believe she was “tracked” down by the Secret Service as you say. There was no serious manhunt here, no major detective work. She is after all a celebrity of sorts, and you don’t have to be a great investigator to find her.

But what puzzles me is why she wasn’t accosted in her home in the early morning hours by a dozen heavily armed agents, taken away in shackles, brought before a U.S. Court magistrate, and released on a hundred thousand dollars bail as befitting her crude personality? Perhaps it is because our President is so unpopular that the Secret Service was satisfied with a mere perfunctory symbolic warning.

However, I think that perhaps she was clobbered with a feathery touch rather ran a hard fist was because her last name was not Cohen or Jacobs and she wasn’t a resident of a small town in New Jersey. She therefore did not pose as great a threat to society as those odd looking Jews.

  4. Why won’t the FBI go after Snoop Dogg? Because he’s black?! He did this video which ended with his shooting of an effigy of President Trump! So the secret service has been so beaten down by the Thought Police that they allow people of color to incite violence against our white President?! And if the roles were reversed and Obama was President and the likes of Billy Joel would do the exact same thing…………………………….?!

  5. So someone did something stupid! If everyone who did something stupid was locked up you wouldn’t get a minyan in shul in the morning. The streets of our cities would be empty and everyone would be in jail.
So it’s time to just let it slide and leave her alone.

    • Good point. Maybe they’ll come for you next and then we’ll see how quick you change your tune. Idiot.
