loch-sheldrakeA Crown Heights resident and his son riding on a motorbike were struck by a deer late Sunday afternoon. The incident occurred in front of Luxor Estates in the town of Loch Sheldrake. Hatzolah Paramedics requested a chopper to respond for the child who had a head injury, to be flown to a trauma center. Lifenet 75 landed at the firehouse in Loch Sheldrake just minutes later.

The father was taken by ambulance to a trauma center, but paramedics called for a chopper to meet them on the way. The landing zone for the father was in the town of Bloomingburg.

  1. I heard from a police officer that the increase in deer accidents this summer is because the animal rights nuts succeeded in stopping the annual deer hunt that would normally keep the deer population under control. Scandalous!
