A charity group said that Ivanka Trump donated $50,000 to its campaign to help migrant children separated from their families along the border, despite her father drawing criticism for policies that separated children from their parents. Trump later signed an executive order to stop the family separations.

Last week, Ivanka Trump reached out to an organization based out of Plano, Texas, after hearing about its efforts to help kids separated at the border through a tweet by its  the church said in a statement.

“I’ve had the opportunity to meet with Ivanka Trump a number of times over the last year, and I’ve been struck by her kindness and concern for those in need, so, it wasn’t that surprising to me to know she would want to help these families,” Jack Graham, founder of the charity, said.

  1. Wonderful. Now how about helping parents of Yeshiva students? Why not invest in furthering Torah education, in this way ensuring the future of her Jewish Nation? She is Jewish, right?

  2. To separate may have been necessary an dmay have made sense.
To send them so far away so that children and parents lose contact is absurd and to actually send parents back while leaving the children is cruel.
The Feds have now lost track of the connection between many children and parents. Down right evil.

    • No, it is not the same, such children (if no relative can care for them) are placed with foster families or institutions but they retain a link with their imprisoned parents, they can write them letters and sometimes visit them.
But, when a young child with no proper documents is displaced and “lost in the system”, then it becomes difficult to find the parents, basically only DNA can help, and it takes time (and money). It should not have happened, and steps must be taken to reunite those families, whether in USA or elsewhere.

As for those who look suspicious, DNA testing should establish if the adults are the real parents, and child trafficking should be handled accordingly, it is a totally different crime than illegal immigration, and now thanks to technology, it is possible to tell.

  3. What about the children who came without parents, what do you do with them, for there is no matching up. There are people taking advantage of our immigration system and now there are children with no parents for they were used as pawns. What about those children no parents just their abductors, or do you send them back to their primary country or absorb them into US, which means our tax dollars at work again to raise these children with no parents.
