The bodies of a charedi couple were found in their home in the Armon Hanatziv neighborhood of Yerushalayim today.
The elderly couple, who appeared to be in their 70s, were discovered with signs of violence on their bodies inside their home in Armon Hanatziv neighborhood. The MDA team came to their apartment after concerned family members contacted emergency services to notify them that the couple hadn’t been seen in a few days. MDA found the two people without pulses and pronounced them dead on the scene.
The Israeli police opened an investigation into the incident, saying that it was apparently a double murder. Their deaths may be connected to a stabbing in the neighborhood a few days earlier where a girl was injured at the entrance to her house by an unknown person.
According to Kikar Shabbos, the couple were baalei teshuva who were chozrim b’tshuva with their entire family a few years ago.
