Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) on Sunday compared President Trump to a “72-year-old relative,” saying that it’s hard to convince them they’re not doing the right thing.
Comparing Trump to a “72-year-old relative,” Chris Christie says Mick Mulvaney is “right that he shouldn’t try to manage the president.”
“When people get older, they become more and more convinced of the fact that what they’re doing is the right thing and it becomes harder to convince them otherwise.”
“It’s happening to me now,” Christie joked.
