Former Rep. Anthony Weiner has been released from a federal prison outside Boston and placed in a residential re-entry facility, The Associated Press reported Sunday.
Weiner reported to prison in November 2017 to begin a 21-month sentence. The AP reported that the Federal Bureau of Prisons shows Weiner is in the custody of a Residential Re-entry Management office in Brooklyn, New York.
The former congressman is scheduled to finish his sentence on May 14.
