12 Marines Missing as Choppers Collide


chopperAfter two Marine Corps helicopters collided Friday off the coast of Hawaii, its 12 passengers have been reported missing.

They were on a training mission when they crashed, and, according to U.S. Coast Guard Petty Officer Sara Mooers, “[rescue] crews discovered a life raft with no one on board and visible flames on the water.”

Mooers said officials had not yet determined the cause of the collision. Read more at NBC New York.
