Watch: The Toldos Tzvi Spinka Rebbe Dancing at the Mitzvah Tantz at His Daughter’s Wedding

    • It’s not necessarily a chassidishe custom. Many kallahs (and chassanim) shuckle, especially under the chuppah. It’s the same reason we shukle during davening. For the chosson and kallah, the wedding day is like Yom Kippur in that their sins are forgiven. Because of that, they have a special connection to Hashem, and are a conduit for tefillos for refuah, shidduchim, etc., from other people.

      Mazel Tov!
