The man who destroyed Donald Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is in police custody, the LAPD confirmed today.
Trump first received the honorary star in 2007.
A man dressed as a construction worker, identifying himself as James Otis, struck the star with a pickax in the early hours of Wednesday morning. “I just sort of had enough with Mr. Trump’s aggressive language…and his behavior,” Otis told the Los Angles Times after doing the vandalism. “…It all became very personal.”
