Today’s court hearing began at 10 a.m. Beseech Hashem for rachamim so that the judge will Reb Shalom Mordechai bail and will honor the requests of tens of people who wrote letters on behalf of Reb Shalom Mordechai, vouching for his integrity and ehrlichkeit.
Reb Shalom Mordechai’s family asks everyone to please increase in Torah, tefillah and tzedaka until this afternoon bezechus Shalom Mordechai Halevi ben Rivkah. Please also say his kappitel of Tehillim, kapittel Nun Aleph (51).
Parents, teachers, and administrators, please include the children under your supervision in adding tefillos, Tehillim and zechusim for Shalom Mordechai Halevi ben Rivkah.
Reb Shalom Mordechai’s attorney, Guy Cook, is appealing the verdict passed down on Thursday.
Reb Shalom Mordechai’s legal expenses have already exceeded $1 million.
Those who are aware of the details of the case have said that Thursday’s verdict is a complete injustice and a blood libel in every sense of the word. Additional info regarding the case and the appeal will be reported here as it become available.
1:10 p.m.: The bail hearing is over. Reb Shalom Mordechai is in federal custody and will remain there until Judge Linda Reade makes her decision. There is no set timeframe for this to happen. We will keep you posted.
