The US-led airstrikes against ISIS in Syria and Iraq eliminated 10 ISIS leaders this month, including a terrorist who was in direct contact with the terrorist who planned the series of deadly terror attacks in Paris.
According to Army Colonel Steve Warren, a spokesman for the US-led military campaign against Islamic State, Charaffe al Mouadan, who was eliminated last week in Syria, was in direct contact with Abdelhamid Abaaoud and even planned himself other terror attacks against the West, J Online reports.
“We will hunt ISIS leaders working to inspire attacks against U.S. and our allies,” wrote Warren on his Twitter account. “We are striking at the head of the snake. Haven’t severed the head of the snake, it’s still got fangs,” he continued.
