Levi Aron pleaded guilty in Brooklyn Supreme Court today to last year’s killing of eight-year-old Leiby Kletzky.
Aron kidnapped Leiby in July 2011, while the boy was walking home from day camp.
When he is sentenced on August 29, Aron faces 25 years to life in prison for second-degree murder and an additional 15 years for second-degree kidnapping.
Aron previously pleaded not guilty to killing Leiby but then reached a plea deal with prosecutors.
State Assemblyman Dov Hikind says prosecutors struck the plea deal in close consultation with the Kletzky family.
