LETTER: Richard and Pat Nixon Predicted Trump Would Be President One Day

Former President Richard Nixon was a lot of things, and one of them was a pretty accurate predictor of the future, THE WRAP REPORTS.

Over three decades before Donald Trump even ran for office, Nixon and his wife, Pat, foresaw that he would one day be president.

The evidence comes in a short letter written by Nixon to Trump in 1987 after the real estate mogul had appeared on “Donahue.”

“I did not see the program, but Mrs. Nixon told me you were great,” Nixon said in the typewritten note that was resurfaced in Trump’s biography, “Never Enough,” written by Michael D’Antonio. “As you can imagine, she is an expert on politics and she predicts that whenever you decide to run for office, you will be a winner!” the then ex-president wrote.

Nixon, also a Republican, began the letter with “Dear Donald and signed off as “RMN.”

    • What a charming comment to make about another Yid!
Regardless of how strong our political opinions are, there’s no reason for such a statement. IMO, a request for mechila wouldn’t be a bad idea.

  1. This is interesting. A great guy who was a bad president choosing to help another guy be yet another bad president. Can a Nixon delight be the next president indeed? One wonders if they will rest together one day in the same light.

    Its a practicality.

  2. He didn’t predict he would be president. He said if he runs for office-that could be a councilman, a mayor or whatever- he’d be successful. All that means is he has a lot of capabilities that have potential. No nevas here.

  3. Has Trump finished his Presidency for you to make that call? AND …it was HIS WIFES PREDICTION, not his…for accuracy sake…which you probably can’t relate to…being the person you are.
Anyone that doesnt even give a person a chance and judges them ,. .well…. nothing to say…speaks for itself.
