Kenyans Stanley Biwott and Mary Keitany swept the New York Marathon on Sunday. Keitany, 33, won her second consecutive New York Marathon and became the first woman to repeat the title since world-record holder Paula Radcliffe in 2008.
Biwott, 29, won his first major title after finishing in second last year in London. Keitany won last year in New York by just three seconds and has also won the London Marathon two times. Keitany finished in 2 hours, 24 minutes and 25 seconds while Biwott won in 2 hours, 10 minutes and 34 seconds. Read more at the New York Times.
