During the Sunday edition of Fox & Friends, host Pete Hegseth tied the anti-Donald Trump protests that have cropped up across the country over the past several days to billionaire George Soros, MoveOn.org and other groups who he claimed want to create “perpetual anarchy” in America, the Daily Beast reports.
“These are Communists. These are anarchists. They’re anti-Semitic,” he said of the protesters. “They’re not pro-American liberals who are frustrated with conservatism,” he added. “They’re anti-American and they want to foment chaos across our country.”
Hegseth appeared to be basing his comments on reports from Russia Today that in turn cite WikiLeaks documents to link Soros to the protests.
